Whether you’ve got a couple of hours or an entire day to explore, the Water Taxi offers a unique way to experience Pompano Beach. We've mapped out five itineraries based on how much time you have and what kind of adventure you're looking for, from brunch cruises and beach days to sunset sails and waterfront dining.

Before you even board, take a stroll along the Fisher Family Pier for sweeping ocean views before making the short five-minute walk through the Fishing Village to Sgt. Chris Reyka Memorial Park, home to the Dockswell Dock, where the Water Taxi awaits.

Before you go, remember to purchase your ticket online through the Water Taxi website so you can head straight to the dock when it’s time to board. While you’re there, check the Boat Tracker. It shows real-time boat locations, so you can time your arrival perfectly. Also, remember that many restaurants and businesses offer discounts on the day of your ride when you show your ticket. View those deals HERE.

Pro tip: Parking is available near each starting stop, but you can skip the hassle by using the free Circuit shuttle. Just request a ride in their app, and they’ll drop you right at your chosen dock.

Choose Your Adventure

The Brunch Cruiser

The Pompano Beach Water Taxi transporting people on the Intracoastal Waterway

Best For: Foodies, couples, first-time visitors, leisurely mornings
Time Needed: 1- 3 Hours

If you only have a couple of hours, start at the Fisher Family Pier in the Fishing Village. Snap a few photos of the ocean, the pier, and the friendly pelicans who don’t mind posing for selfies. Spend a few moments watching the fishermen reel in their morning catch before making the short five-minute walk to Sgt. Chris Reyka Memorial Park, where the Dockswell Dock and its welcoming archway mark the start of your ride. (Just exit the pier and walk straight, and you will arrive at the park.)

Mid-morning, board the Water Taxi for a breezy trip to Shooters Waterfront, where your ticket gets you 10% off food. On Saturdays and Sundays, enjoy their full brunch menu, think shrimp & grits or eggs Benedict with a waterfront view. Monday through Friday, early diners can order from the lunch menu, which still offers plenty of tempting options. Later that afternoon, cruise back to Dockswell Dock, refreshed and ready for the rest of your day.

When you've finished up there, you’ll reboard and head toward Nauti Dawg Café (P12). Known for its dockside charm and fresh seafood, it’s even better with 10% off your bill. Just note that Nauti Dawg is closed on Tuesdays, so plan this itinerary for another day if you want to make the most of the stop. Afterward, ride back to P6 with the kind of calm only a day on the water can deliver.
