Parks & Activities
With 50-plus Pompano Beach parks and recreation spots, there's a diverse range of activities for all ages. At North Pompano Park, you’ll find more than 20 acres for leisure, play, and sports. There’s a disc golf course, athletic fields, a walking/jogging track, picnic areas, rental pavilions, and a playground for kids.
If you've brought your furry friend along on the family vacation, be sure to visit Canine Corner, a dog park tailored to your four-legged companions. If you want a workout with one-of-a-kind views, hit the Air Park Jogging Track, a 4.4-mile loop by the local airport that welcomes strollers, joggers, and cyclists.
If you play it, you’ll find it at Pompano Beach Community Park. This mega-park has bragging rights to numerous sports fields, pickleball and basketball courts, a baseball complex, an aquatic center, and even an open-air amphitheater, lovingly called “The Amp.”
Play Time for Kids
When the kids need to burn off energy, Pompano Beach parks are perfect for play. A top favorite of children and parents is the Pompano Beach Playground, located by the beach and Fisher Family Pier, with plenty of inventive stations for the littles to climb, swing, slide, and even spin around. There's also a neighboring splash pad where kids can race through fountains, as well as soft, green spaces for more play.
The Sgt. Kip A. Jacoby Park features All-Inclusive Playground Equipment for All Abilities that will encourage side-by-side play for all children. The new pieces by the Kompan Company improve physical, cognitive, creative and social skills for all children, while offering a welcoming atmosphere!
Facilities include rental options, pavilion shelters, picnic areas, grills, benches, restrooms, walking/ jogging track, a playground, tennis, handball, and this park is ADA accessible.
