Getting to Pompano Beach

Getting to Pompano Beach is easy. If you’re flying in, you can access our city from three major airports—Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, Palm Beach International Airport, and Miami International Airport—via I-95 and the Florida Turnpike. These airports provide rental car and rideshare services to make your journey seamless. If you're flying privately, you’ll enjoy convenient access to local attractions from the Pompano Air Park.

You can also reach Pompano Beach by train. The high-speed Brightline train service runs from Miami to Orlando. Pompano Beach resides between the Boca Raton and Fort Lauderdale Brightline stations. The Tri-Rail commuter rail system also serves the region and stops in Pompano Beach just west of I-95 by Sample Road.

Getting Around

Like much of the area, everyone tends to travel by car, but there are also unique transportation options that let you get around quickly while sightseeing.

The free Circuit shuttle is an on-demand service traversing the beach that riders can hail by downloading the Ride Circuit app on their cell phones. Neighboring cities like Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, Wilton Manors, and Fort Lauderdale also utilize the service. You can connect directly to Lauderdale-By-The-Sea attractions from Pompano Beach.

Those looking to explore the town on two wheels can rent an e-bike from Broward BCycle’s Pompano Beach station on East Atlantic Boulevard and Briny Avenue. Broward BCycle is an electric bike share program, and you can rent a bike via the BCycle app
