Getting to Pompano Beach

Getting to Pompano Beach is easy. If you’re flying in, you can access our city from three major airports—Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, Palm Beach International Airport, and Miami International Airport—via I-95 and the Florida Turnpike. These airports provide rental car and rideshare services to make your journey seamless. If you're flying privately, you’ll enjoy convenient access to local attractions from the Pompano Air Park.

You can also reach Pompano Beach by train. The high-speed Brightline train service runs from Miami to Orlando. Pompano Beach resides between the Boca Raton and Fort Lauderdale Brightline stations. The Tri-Rail commuter rail system also serves the region and stops in Pompano Beach just west of I-95 by Sample Road.

Getting Around

Like much of the area, people tend to travel by car; however, there are also unique transportation options that allow you to get around quickly while sightseeing.

The free Circuit shuttle is an on-demand service traversing the beach area, allowing riders to hail it as it passes by or, preferably, requesting a pickup using the Ride Circuit app, available to download onto cell phones. Neighboring cities, like Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, Wilton Manors, and Fort Lauderdale, also utilize the service. You can connect directly to Lauderdale-By-The-Sea attractions from Pompano Beach. (Note: due to construction, this option is temporarily unavailable.)

Those looking to explore the town on two (or four) wheels can rent a bike or golf cart from Sunny Place Rental or Bike Science. (Bike Science does not have golf carts.)

Harrah's Casino Pompano Beach provides transportation from the Fishing Village to their entrance every hour on the hour. No need to navigate the 15-minute drive on your own.
