Sports Facilities

Pompano Beach is a sports lovers’ dream destination. Serving as a vibrant hub for pro, amateur, and youth sports teams, Pompano Beach is the place for year-round play, thanks to numerous state-of-the-art sports facilities with extra amenities. Add in the blend of year-round mild weather and so many things to do, and it’s an ideal spot for leisurely play and competitive sports.

Where to Play

The sports mecca, Pompano Beach Athletic Fields, is located within the sprawling Pompano Beach Community Park. With two full-sized baseball fields, four full-sized softball fields, and a full-sized multipurpose field, the athletic fields cater to spring training and year-round tournaments. Players have access to eight batting cages, two soft-toss stations, the park’s fitness trails, and many open green spaces.

Swimmers can dive into the action of the Pompano Beach Aquatic Center, where an Olympic-sized pool that’s temperature-controlled and has deck lighting for day and night use is the star of the property. The pool can transform into 14 short or eight long courses, and there’s an additional 25-meter teaching pool and on-site pro shop for all your swimming needs.

Tennis pros and leisurely players flock to the 16 lighted clay courts of the Pompano Beach Tennis Center, which are available year-round for tournaments or training. Thanks to a hydro underground watering system, the courts never have to shut down for watering. Look for amenities such as a pro shop and a ball machine, and the tennis center has one pickleball court with options for lessons for all ages and skill levels.

When you’re ready to play and compete, explore Pompano Beach’s various sports facilities for your next tournament or leisurely game.
