Friday Night: Music Under the Stars
Kick off your weekend on Friday, November 8th, with Music Under the Stars, a free concert on the Great Lawn. Poor Life Decisions will take the stage, performing pop and rock classics from the 60s to today. Bring a blanket, grab a spot on the lawn, and let the music set the tone for a relaxing and fun-filled weekend.
Saturday: The Main Event – Pompano Beach’s 3rd Annual Drone Show Extravaganza
On Saturday, November 9th, the skies above Pompano Beach will come alive with the dazzling light displays of the 3rd Annual Drone Show Extravaganza. This year, the show promises to be bigger and better than ever, featuring 400 brilliantly illuminated drones—150 more than last year.
The festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. on the south side of the Fisher Family Pier, with a DJ and a live performance by Streetlight Entertainment. As the anticipation builds, guests can enjoy the lively atmosphere before the skies light up at 7:00 p.m. with a stunning 50-drone pre-show. Then, prepare to be amazed by the Main Show, where the drones will create intricate designs in the night sky, perfectly choreographed to a musical soundtrack.
The show's theme honors our veterans and celebrates South Florida’s vibrant coastal charm. Whether you’re watching from the beach, a restaurant watch party, or your hotel balcony, you’ll be treated to an unforgettable visual spectacle. The drones can be seen from up to five miles away, so even those a bit further from the action will still get a fantastic view.
Sunday: Southern Rock at The Amp
The excitement doesn’t end with the drones. On Sunday night, November 10th, head to The Amp for a high-energy performance by Blackberry Smoke. Known for their unique blend of Southern rock, this band will provide the perfect closing act for a weekend full of entertainment.
