The City of Pompano Beach wants everyone to be able to enjoy the beach. At the moment, there are two chairs available anytime after 8:00 AM. It is requested it be returned no later than 4:30 PM. One is located of the beach side of Ocean Rescue Headquarters, and the other at Tower 7. For assistance acquiring the beach wheelchair, contact Beach Patrol at 954-786-4337, or stop by the Visitor Center.
Reservations are not necessary, though we suggest you arrive early, especially during peak season, to avoid disappointment. The lifeguard will hold your license or official ID as collateral while you have the beach wheelchair.
